PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A compact survival kit which allows users to charge their electronic devices and to power a camping light, as well as on-the-go solar and hydro energy harvesting for sustained long-term usage.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT

Circuit Designer

• Designed a PWM buck converter circuit to convert 12V unregulated battery power supply into 5V regulated power output that conforms to USB BC 1.2 specifications.

• Performed circuit simulations required using OrCAD Capture PSpice and NI MultiSim

• Designed Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) for all circuits in the survival kit.
